Ron Hogg has made the following statement in response to the Police Arbitration Panel agreeing with the Windsor Review that the starting salary for police constables should be reduced by £4,000.

Ron said:

"I think this decision is absolutely outrageous and disgraceful and it is likely that this will impact on police recruitment in the future.

"Policing can be a very dangerous job, as recently seen in Manchester. Brave young people often put their own lives at risk and this is how they are treated by their country".
