Spare furniture finds a new home - media photo opportunity
Spare furniture from Durham Constabulary headquarters will find a new home this Friday.
The furniture - ten single beds and mattresses, ten bedside units and three wardrobes – is from the hostel accommodation at HQ which has been mothballed and so is surplus to requirements.
Durham Police and Crime Commissioner Ron Hogg will hand over the furniture to the Cyrenians charity. It will be accepted by Ed Hudspith from the Cyrenians.
The presentation will take place on Friday, December 21, at Durham Constabulary headquarters, Aykley Heads, Durham, at 9.30am.
