PCC ‘joins forces’ with Jenny Chapman, MP to co-host street surgery

Ron Hogg has been joining up with the MPs of County Durham and Darlington to co-host surgeries for people who want to discuss issues associated with police and crime in their area.

Ron joined Jenny Chapman, MP, Councillor Wendy Newell and Helen Crumbie who is a Labour Candidate in the forthcoming bi-election, at a street surgery in the Lascelles Ward, Fenby Avenue, Darlington on Friday 15 March where local residents had the opportunity of airing their views on policing and crime.

Following the surgery, Ron said:

“I was pleased to have been invited along to the street surgery on Friday as this not only gave residents the opportunity to raise any concerns they had about policing or crime, but also helped me strengthen links with councillors who are responsible for this area of Darlington”

Jenny Chapman MP said:

"It’s always good to hear the views of people living in the Lascelles Ward and to offer help and assistance where we can. I’m delighted to be working with Wendy, Helen and Ron and together we can tackle any concerns about crime or anti-social behaviour that come up on the doorstep.”
