PCC gives message of support for Police Skydive
Durham’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Ron Hogg sends out a message of support to police officers in Darlington ahead of charity skydive.
The skydive is to raise money for The Centre in Darlington. A charity based organisation and offers specific counselling for victims of domestic abuse and sexual abuse who are aged 13 or above.
Detective Constables Lynsey Eglington and Elizabeth Graham from Darlington Safeguarding Unit will do the skydive on Friday 22nd November to coincide with the ‘Elimination of violence against woman’s day” on 25th November 2013.
Mr Hogg said:
“I think this is a fantastic way to raise money and I would like to wish Lynsey and Elizabeth the best of luck. One of my priorities is to reduce the impact of Domestic Abuse, particularly violence against women and girls; therefore I fully support the work of The Centre in Darlington and wish them every success in the future”
