PCC Ron Hogg launches Community Safety Fund
Durham Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Ron Hogg has launched a Community Safety Fund available to partners and organisations, particularly those in the voluntary and community sector.
Applications of up to £20,000 will be considered that support the PCC's policing priorities, including:
- To tackle anti-social behaviour
- To tackle the harm caused to communities by alcohol and drugs
- To reduce the impact of domestic abuse
- To reduce the impact of hate crime
- To improve road safety
The Community Safety Fund will be considered twice a year, in April and September. The deadline for receiving the first round of applications is strictly Monday 14 April 2014.
