Ron Hogg takes forward residents' concerns

Ron Hogg, Durham's Police and Crime Commissioner, is taking forward some key issues including anti-social behaviour, speeding and other road safety concerns, following a Community Partnership PACT (Police and Communities Together) meeting on Thursday evening (6th February).

The Chair of the Benfieldside, Blackhill, Bridgehill and Shotley Bridge (BBB&SB) Community Partnership invited Mr Hogg to the meeting, to discuss concerns raised by local residents.

Mr Hogg said: “This was a really positive meeting and well attended by members of the public. Many local residents who attended are supportive of the police and work with them to continue to reduce crime and keep their community safe.

"We had a good discussion and I have agreed to take forward some of the topics raised. I have also committed to attend their August meeting to see how progress has developed during this time."
