Following a commissioning exercise which identified the lack of resources available to support the work of our local registered intermediaries the Durham PCVC has funded the development of two workbooks, namely attending court and preparing a victim impact statement. These resourcees have now been completed and it was Ron Hogg's wish that they be placed on the Intermediary for Justice (IFJ) website for use by all who would find them helpful. Whilst the documents are predominantly developed for intermediaries they do provide relevant and helpful information for all victims and witnesses and those organisations currently offering support.
The link to the IJF website is Durham PCVC Resources | Intermediaries for Justice and we are happy to speak to anyone who wants more information on how best to use the documents or adjust to make suitable for their local area courts.
